Shreveport, LA – Congressman John Fleming, M.D., announced that his campaign finished its strongest-ever quarter of fundraising with at least $750,000 cash on hand.

Fleming said, “As I’ve traveled our district it’s clear that Louisianans are demanding that fiscal sanity be restored to Washington. The support I’ve seen already in 2012 is strong and growing. People want Obamacare repealed. They want an end to deficit spending, a sound energy policy, relief from excessive regulations, a government that follows the Constitution, economic liberty for individuals, and they want to make sure Washington never shirks its responsibilities to our armed services.

“Thank you to the generous people who have given financial support to enable me to fight back against the liberal attacks during the 2012 campaign, and I look forward to continue taking your voice to Washington.”

Note: Fleming for Congress raised more than $398,000 in the first quarter, the most ever raised by the campaign in a single quarter. The campaign reported $436,125 cash on hand on December 31, 2011.

Full details of first quarter fundraising will be reported to the Federal Election Commission on or before April 15, 2012.
